The research group “Human Immunoregulation” headed by Prof. Christina Zielinski at the Center for Translational Cancer Research (TranslaTUM) in the heart of Munich is now offering 1 Postdoc position. Successful candidates will employ state-of-the-art experimental approaches and cutting-edge analysis tools to pursue projects in molecular and cellular immunology. The research group headed by Christina Zielinski focusses on human T cell immunology and questions related to the generation, maintenance and plasticity of human T helper cells in health and disease (Zielinski et al. Nature 2012, Noster et al. Sci Transl Med 2015, Matthias et al. Sci Transl Med 2019). The prospective candidate will have to opportunity to investigate the regulation of the human tissue resident T cells.
The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated PhD, MD or MD/PhD with an excellent productivity record and experience in flow cytometry, cell culture and high-dimensional single-cell data analysis. Bioinformatic programming skills are a plus. The candidate should be a team player and should have excellent communications skills. Experienced postdoctoral candidates will be given the opportunity to supervise students and to develop their own independent research agenda.
